Bull yah

2 weeks ago I woke up and found myself in Mexico. San Miguel de Allende to be exact. I was surrounded by crowds of people dressed in red and white. In front of me I saw bulls running; running and chasing people. http://banderasnews.com/0609/to-runningofthebulls.htm
Check out the link to learn more.
No one in our group was injured. As the article states the dangerous aspect of the run was the crowd. As I crossed the bull field to get a better view, some one yelled toro and the crowd went crazy and I was pinned up against a metal wall unable to breath. It was a little too crazy for my taste but exhilarating at the same time. We did not stay in San Miguel, but chose to stay in guanajuato http://home.scarlet.be/~tsc92530/picture%20gto.htm. We stayed in a great hostel. Each morning the Senora would get up early to cook us breakfast; for $13 a night it can not be beat. Ate at another great taqueria (still not as good as El GRECCO!). Was unable to visit the mummies (yes these are real dead bodies that are on display). This is an amazing city, a labyrinth of cobblestone and old world charm. www.agren.blogspot.com check out this website, I found it while searching for photos. He has really beautiful photos of Mexico on his site.
Ciao, and have a great week!!

Chili,

Sounds like an adventure with the animals. Stay clear of raging bulls, I hear they'll just run you over. It's like they don't care or have any feelings for humans with red capes. Go figure. Anywho, glad to hear you're eating well and loving your time there. Have a great week.

Scary...So i looked at the link you gave, thinking, "hmmm pretty pictures", and the picture that i saw right off were three amigas in bikinis and fur coats? Michele...is the language transition affecting your memory of the meaning of the word pretty?! JK
